In order to ensure that Community Transport schemes such as Wealdlink operating in rural areas are affordable to all sections of the general public including those on low incomes they have to be funded or subsidised.
NWCTP Ltd is grant funded by numerous diferent County, District and Parish Councils in and around the North Wealden area. In 2010 the Company successfully applied to the Community Transport Association UK for a place in their Rural Social Enterprise Programme, and as a result was awarded a package of grants, loans and operational support in order to take the business forward.
NWCTP is a not for profit organisation and registered charity 1126292 and therefore we are able to receive valuable tax relief on all donations and legacies.
